Raices 2026 - "Raices Fuertes, Futuros Brilliantes"
The 2026 RAICES Graduation Celebration is just around the corner, and we can鈥檛 wait to honor our incredible Latinx students across the district!
This year鈥檚 celebration will be held at the College of Alameda on May 14th, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. All Peralta colleges graduates are welcome!
The theme for this year鈥檚 event, 鈥淩aices Fuertes, Futuros Brillantes"鈥攚hich translates to 鈥渟trong roots, strong futures鈥� showing incredible growth, aspirations, and achievements of our Peralta Latinx students. It鈥檚 a celebration of how far they鈥檝e come and how they continue to dream and thrive in their educational, personal, and professional journeys.
This celebration is open to everyone but was designed especially to celebrate our Latino/a/x students. To secure their spot, please make sure students register by May 3rd.

About Raices
Ra铆ces (Roots) celebrates the educational achievements of our Peralta Latina, Latinx, Latino & Chicana, Chicanx, and Chicano students and their families who are completing a certificate, degree, or transferring to a four-year university. This in-person event includes celebratory messages from our Peralta Chancellor, College Presidents, Keynote speaker, and student speakers. Graduating students are recognized on stage for their accomplishments.
